This is a 7 Days Kenya Disabled Safari starting from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha and then finally in Amboseli National park. You will start with visiting the Amboseli National park where you will be accommodated in a wheelchair friendly lodge; Sopa lodge and proceed to Lake Naivasha where you will stay at Sawela Safari lodge before you head to Nakuru National Park.

Disability Tourism in Africa is one of the concepts in tourism industry, every human being has a social right to go for tours as any other human being on earth. This is a concept whereby the physically impaired in society is accessible to tourism. Globally it is estimated that over 5 million people are disabled, both physically and otherwise. Some are paraplegic and some are disabled after various calamities. These circumstances have made over 5 million individuals to have some form of disability. What to Expect on 7 Days Kenya Disabled Safari

Our safari land cruisers have wheelchair locking system that allows travelers to remain in their chair. We also offer at least two personal caretaker per vehicle.

Kenya safari tour focusing on great rift valley landscape, bird life, activities & big game viewing. Tour visits the Rift valley lakes where a few Flamingos, Rhino, Warthog, Buffalo, Lion may be seen at the Lake Nakuru. The Lake Naivasha also offers small game viewing and opportunities for bicycle riding and trek at the Hell’s gate. Boat ride to explore Lake Naivasha is included.

Day 1Arrival – Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by out tour manager who will brief you on your safari before you are transferred to your hotel at the sarova Stanley hotel.

Day 2Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

This morning, you begin your safari by driving down to the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Your destination is Amboseli National park. The park famous for large herds of elephant and its spectacular view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is also famous for buffalo, antelope and the occasional hippo Dinner and over night at the Amboseli Sopa lodge.

Day 3Amboseli National Park

Morning and evening game drive. Amboseli has a perfect view of this world’s tallest freestanding mountain, rising an impressive 5 kilometers above the plains. The best time to view the majestic mountain is at dawn and sunset, when the clouds lift and the light is both clear and soft.

Day 4Amboseli Lake Naivasha

Depart in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha making a brief stop over at the great rift valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sawela lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will have a boat ride in Lake Naivasha before coming back to the lodge for dinner and over night stay.

Day 5Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

After break fast we depart to lake Nakuru National park. The drive will take two hours to the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Reticulated giraffes, waterbucks, black and white rhinos, buffalo, lions, leopards, and the shores of the lake itself is fringed by thousands of Flamingos s which feed on the Lake Nakuru’s algae . Lunch will be taken at the baboon cliff. Afternoon safari game viewing before returning back to Lake Naivasha. Dinner and over night at the lodge.

Day 6Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Depart the lodge after breakfast drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch where you will head straight to carnivore restaurant for your party lunch. Transfer back to your hotel for dinner and over night stay.

Day 7 Hotel - Air port

Transfer to the air port (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) in the early evening for your flight back.
