Dawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand. Before the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. This morning we enplane for the Mara, winging west over the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the unspoiled savannah of the Masai Mara where magnificent events await. Here we may savour a Bush Walk with an expert naturalist guide, experiencing the world of the Mara from the ground up— an invigorating opportunity to stretch our legs and be a part of the land or we may try a Hot-Air Balloon Safari. Our accommodations are equally superlative at the Mara Serena Lodge.

Morning and evening game drives on the plains of Masai Mara National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge.
